 Introduction

🌳Among the millions of trees found in many countries of the world, it can be mentioned that only the Bodhi tree, which has received the blessings of Sirianu, has been worshiped by the public and has become extremely sacred.

🌳The legend of Bodhi dates back to ancient times. Although there are ancient trees anywhere in the world, according to documented information, the Bodhi tree has been recorded in history as the plant that enjoys the longest lifespan.

🌳The southern tree of Bodhi, which sheltered Lord Gautama Buddha to attain enlightenment, visited Lakdi 2290 years ago.

🌳Believed to have originated in India, this plant has now spread here and covers a large area with a height of 25 meters.

🌳Ficus religiosa (Ficus religiosa L) (Latin) botanical name belongs to the Moraceae family.

🌳 There are two types of bo. One is the sacred Bodhi that none of us know about. The other is called Kaka or Kavdu Bo.

🌳 Although the nature of both the types is almost similar, according to the order of distribution, the two types have to be separated.
