Violin

Violin is a four-stringed instrument. The violin is the smallest member of the stringed instrument family that produces a high note. Viola and cello also belong to this family.

A standard modern violin, shown front and side.

Violin is sometimes called fiddle. The word may have originated from the Middle Latin word vitula and through the Romance languages became violin.

Vitula means stringed instrument. This word is probably the origin of the German fiddle.

The person who plays this is called Violinist or Fiddler. A violin maker or repairer is called a luthier.

The violin is known as an invention of Europe, but there is also an opinion that the violin was created by King Ravana of Sridhana.

Ravana Veena of King Ravana was a musical instrument that had only one string, and there is a theory that when it was further developed, it was destroyed by migration through countries such as India, Arabia, Pramania, etc.

and later produced the violin. Also, there is another opinion that when a musical instrument called Rebekah, which was composed of six seconds, was created as a viol, it later developed into a violin.

However, the violinist Stati Varian's violin and Antonio's violin are recognized as superior violins.
